Augustus ⁶ BIGELOW

16B26.5 Augustus ⁶ BIGELOW, son of Jabez ⁵ ( Jabez ⁴, Gershom ³, Joshua², John¹) and Almy (GARDNER) BIGELOW, was born 18 Sep 1801 at Lebanon, Columbia county, NY. Their son's biography states that Augustus went to Ashtabula, OH in 1832, residing there twenty years, when he sold his farm and moved to North Canaan, CT where again he took up a farm. He died in North Canaan 29 Apr 1882. He married Frances Fenn, daughter of James and Lois (Sedgwick) Fenn of North Canaan, CT. In her later years she moved with their younger son to Altoona, SD, and died in 1893.
