BIGELOW, was born at Richfield, Summit co, OH on 27 June 1833. He married
on 24 April 1861 Louise Alchin (see below) who was
born 26 December 1838 in Kent, England. She was the daughter of Richard and
Ann ( __ ) Alchin. Louise died in 1902 and Edward in 1906- both at Alamo,
Kalamazoo co, MI.

Dear Rod,
While going through your site I came across a problem with
one of the children of Edward and Martha Louise (ALCHIN) BIGELOW (she goes
by Louise, not Martha). On your site it says that their daughter,
Cora N. BIGELOW died in 30 Aug1864, however, I find her still alive and well
with her family in the 1880 Census. There is shown a Cora BIGELOW,
age 18, so that corresponds with her birthdate. Is it possible that
there is a typo in your date, perhaps it's 1894, not 1864. I thought
I would bring this to your attention. Thanks again for such a wonderful
site.
