BIGELOW and Hannah (STRONG) BIGELOW, was born 10 Apr 1759 at Colchester,
New London, CT. She married, early in 1778, Elijah Staples, son of Elijah
and Hannah ( ) Staples. He was born 30 Nov 1755 at Colchester. Howe's
Bigelow genealogy places this Hannah as a daughter of John and Sarah (Bate)
Bigelow, but the will of Ezra Bigelow specifically mentions his daughter Hannah
Staples, leaving no doubt as to which Hannah was Elijah Staples' wife. We
have no death dates for either.
They had no children to survive infancy. Elijah and Hannah (Bigelow) Staples:
