Ira 7 BIGELOW

16314.4B      Ira 7 BIGELOW, son of  Ira 6  ( Ezra 5 , David 4, Lt. John 3, Joshua 2, John 1)  and Elizabeth (AMES) BIGELOW, was born 09 May 1818 in Livingston county, NY. After his father died, in 1823, his mother moved to Geauga county, OH. We know little of Ira's early life. On 03 August 1837, in Geauga county, he married Urania Alderman. She died, leaving one son. A few years later, on 25 January 1851 he married Elvira Pulcifer. This marriage was in Trumbull county, OH. Elvira was born 16 December 1825 in Stowe, VT. They moved to Cleveland, where Ira was in business. He died 25 November 1862, apparently in an epidemic, as a child of his died a day later. (see below)
