Mary ⁴ BIGELOW

Daughter of Samuel and Mehitabel (Halsey) Bigelow born at Southampton, L.I.,
first marriage to Hezekiah Whitmore on August 17, 1748; he died Sept. 7, 1759,
second marriage to Elijah Johnson, son of Joseph and Mehitabel (Hamlin) Johnson. This was also Elijah's second marriage.

# 12B3.     Mary ⁴, daughter of Samuel ³ ( Jonathan ², John ¹) BIGELOW and Mehitable (HALSEY) BIGELOW was born 18 Sept 1726 either at Middletown, Middlesex co, CT or Southampton, Long Island, NY. She was married (1) to Hezekiah WHITTEMORE, two different marriage dates being given, the first as 12 Aug 1745, the other as 17 Aug 1748. Hezekiah was the son of Francis and Mary (CORNWALL) WHITTEMORE, and was born 27 June 1725 at Middletown. he served in the militia, and died 07 Sept 1759 at Ticonderoga. Mary then married (2) Elijah JOHNSON, and Mary died June 22d 1776 in the 50th Year of her Age.

Mary undoubtedly had issue by both marriages, but at the time of this writing, we identify only one child, by Hezekiah Whittemore:
