son of Charles 6 (
Joseph 5 , Joseph 4, Ephraim 3, Daniel 2, John 1), and Rebecca E.
(BABCOCK) BIGELOW, was born 14 January 1838 Natick, Middlesex,
MA, married 18 February 1861 Irene Eames in Sherborn MA. She was
born 04 September 1837 in Massachusetts, the dau of Jonathan and
Nancy (Barber) Eames. Moses was with wife and children for 1870
census in Boston MA. Irene was widowed by 1880 census. According to
a news article in the Commercial Bulletin, Boston, 20 May 1876,
Moses died on the "Pacific Coast" in December 1872. On 01 Mar 1870
he had taken out a $10,000 life ins. policy. His widow sued for
payment, and the case was taken before the full bench of the Supreme
Court. She won her case. Irene died 11 May 1925 (aged 87) Boston,
Suffolk County, MA.
