2, John 1), and Mary
(BARDWELL) BIGELOW, was born at Conway, Franklin, MA on 27 October 1822
and married, in the Spring of 1846, Hannah Luana Alden the daughter of Henry
and Hannah (Richmond) Alden and born in Conway on 14 January 1827. This family
moved to Iowa in later years. She died on 04 January 1858 in Alden, IA the
town being named after her father. Orra died in Independence, IA on 22 January
1889. Tradition says Hannah was 4th great granddaughter of John Alden and
Priscilla Mullens.
