12112    Timothy 5 BIGELOW,
    son of Timothy 4(Jonathan
        3,Jonathan2,
      John1) and Abigail
      (OLCOTT)BIGELOW,
    was born 22 May 1730 at Hartford, Hartford co, CT. He married, on 17
    December
    1757, Hannah HYDE. She was born 19 May 1738, daughter of William and
    Anne
    (BASSET) HYDE. Timothy was in the army and died, according to the
    inscription
    on a headstone at Hartford, at Charlestown, NH 28 November 1761
    (aged 31). From a private
    record, quoted by Howe, "Timothy Bigelow died in the army during the
    summer
    of 1762 at Ft. Stanwix." Still a third source says the inscription on the
        headstone of the wife reads she died 21 August 1763,
    aged 25 years. At Timothy's
    death, Hannah was appointed administratrix of his estates, and
    Samuel Flagg,
    brother-in-law to Timothy, was appointed guardian of Timothy's two
    minor
    children.
