Cobia

This is a Cobia about 4 1/2 feet. Photo by Rod 22 Mar 04 in about 10 feet water.
Location was Christmas Tree-French Reef; Key Largo.

These pictures of the Cobia on Christmas Tree were first thought to be a shark. Closer exam showed it to be a Cobia, with the paired anal and dorsal fins, like an Amberjack.
