15383.4      Abel 6 BIGELOW, son of Abel 5 ( Amariah 4, Samuel 3, Samuel 2, John1 and  Martha
( BIGELOW ) BIGELOW, was born 19 July 1785 (1775?) at that portion of Shrewsbury now called West Boylston, Worcester county, MA. He lived at Shipton, Quebec a number of years. He married, on 09 January 1813, Amelia Tilton, born 27 May 1795 Gilmanton, NH. They moved circa 1831 to Jefferson county, NY, where they remained. He died at Redwood, Jefferson county, NY 18 October 1867, she on 15 December 1881.

15383.41    Juliet 7 Bigelow, was born 08 June 1814 at Shipton, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Abel and Amelia (Tilton) Bigelow. She married 18 April 1834 Benjamin Whitney of Stuckeley, Quebec, Canada. They were married in Hopkinton, NY and established residence in Redwood, Jefferson co, NY after living in several communities prior to that. Benjamin Whitney was born 04 March 1811 in Stukeley, Que, and died 17 August 1874 in Redwood, NY. Juliet died 01 January 1893 at Redwood, NY. This information was found by Don Bigelow of Bradenton, FL, enclosed in an original 1890 edition of Howe's book. There were handwritten notes inside, on the children as well as notes in margin. One note records Juliet's death as January 2, 1893 Redwood.
