Andrew Craig 6 BIGELOW

1555E.5      Andrew Craig 6 BIGELOW, son of Samuel 5( Abraham 4, Thomas 3, Samuel 2, John1)  and Mara(HOWE) BIGELOW, was born 02 July 1805 at Ticonderoga, Essex county, NY. He married, on 05 September 1827 Eliza Margaret Hyde. She was born 23 June 1803 at Ticonderoga. They lived a number of years at Ticonderoga, then in April 1839 moved in a covered wagon to Farmer, Williams county (that portion formerly called Defiance county), where he cleared up to four hundred acres and became a prosperous farmer. His wife Eliza died 23 March 1866, he on 27 March 1875. It is said he dropped the name in Bigelow, spelling it Biglow. He was a judge in Defiance co., OH.
     Name spelled Biglow in town records.  Also owned a "cheese factory" in Farmer, Defiance co., OH.  Research by family descendant, Tom Cooper, descendant of Polly Ferry, of Cleveland, OH.  Polly is #16313.66 in Bigelow book and R12124 in computer, d/o Lucy (Bigelow) and Lyman (or Leman) Ferry.

1555E.54t    Samuel Smith, b 23 Feb 1835; d ____ ; m 1877 (Milo, OH) Roby M Chapman. 4 children.

1555E.55t    Andrew Craigie, b 18 Mar 1838; d 8 Oct 1921 Farmer, OH; m 20 Apr 1861 Mathilda McDonald. 8 children.

1555E.56t    Thomas Corwin, b 20 Apr 1841 Farmer, OH; d __ May ; m (1) 04 Aug 1861 Mary Jane Chapman, from whom divorced; m (2) Nettie Butler (1874-1953); he left Ohio to settle in the Dakotas and had a second family in addition to two children by his first marriage.

I am trying to find out how we add our names to the Biglow
genealogy? I am the grandaughter of Thomas C. Biglow and I belief he is the son
of Andrew C. Biglow (Bigelow)born 7-1805. I have a copy of the Bigelow bulletin
board and it states Thomas Corwin being married to Mary Chapman and his 2
childrens names and they are the names of my mothers half sister and brother. How do we
go about adding that Thomas Corwin married Nettie Butler after his divorce
from Mary Chapman and they had 6 children?Thanking you in
