was born 08 December 1807 at Waterford, Oxford county, ME. He married
(1) Hannah Spafford, who died 30 April 1844, at Harvard, aged 34. He married
(2) intention of 13 January 1847, Lydia Bride of Northborough, MA. They are
found on the 1850 census at Fitchburg, Worcester county, MA, and had several
children:

16916.52 Alexander, b ca 1835.
16916.53 Daniel R., b ca 1837.
16916.54 James C., b ca 1840.
