son of Daniel 6 ( Amasa 5 , Isaac 4, Isaac
3, Samuel 2,
John1) and Emma
(JOHNSTON) BIGELOW, was born at Canso, Guysborough, NS on 13 March 1819.
In the late 1820's, (after 1825), the family spent 9 years in Richland county,
OH then moved to Milwaukee, WI. James took up land in Walworth county and
farmed near Millard all of his life. He married, about 1842, Ann Fowler who
was born 04 April 1822 (see stone) in PA. James
died 15 November 1893 in Sugar Creek (Millard), Walworth co, WI, and she
there on 28 February 1908. Both are buried in Millard cemetery.
