Job Gardner 6 BIGELOW


16B26.1      Job Gardner 6 BIGELOW, son of Jabez 5 ( Jabez 4 , Gershom 3, Joshua2, John1) and Almy (GARDNER) BIGELOW, was  born 31 December 1792 at New Lebanon, Columbia county, NY. He married, 25 March 1819 (late 1818 by one source), Thankful Enos, who was born 08 June 1792 at Nassau, NY. He lived for a few years at Lebanon, and circa 1826 moved to West Eaton, then in 1833 to Milford, Oakland county, MI. He was a Methodist minister, and held several pastorates on the Michigan frontier, dying at Milford 29 December 1837. His widow Thankful married (2)1840 David Darrow, and returned to New York, where she is found with some of her children in 1850. She died 1882, place not stated.

16B26.13       Almy Ann, b 25 Dec 1823 New Lebanon, NY; d ____ 1909 Milford, MI; m Rev. Marcus Benson Wilsey. No issue.

16B26.14t      Joseph Enos, b 03 Jan 1826 New Lebanon, NY; d ____ 1896; m 1855 Mary Maynard; res Memphis, TN in 1888. 3 children.

16B26.15t      Harrison A., b 23 Dec 1828 W. Eaton, NY; d 02 May 1873 Milford, MI; m, ca 1864, Frances Ann Elder or Elden?. 2 children.

16B26.16t      Andrew Jackson, b 04 July 1832 W. Eaton, NY; d 30 July 1906 Detroit, MI and bur Adrian, MI; m (1) 23 June 1856 Antha Mattison; (2) 21 May 1872 Emma A. Powers. 6 children.

16B26.17       Mary Eveline, b 12 Feb 1837 Milford, MI; d (after 1906); married Henry W. Chubbuck (d 21 Dec 1885); res
Binghamton, NY. 1 son.

I was doing an update to the copy of my family tree, which was done originally by Melville Bigelow.On your site I found my Great Great Grandfather, Job Gardner 6 Bigelow, father of Jabez Gardner 7 Bigelow. His son, Dr. Gardner J. Bigelow, was my Grandfather. If you would like more information on this branch, I would be glad to supply it.
By the way, Gardner is my middle name, which comes from the Bigelow side.
