John 6 BIGELOW

12116.3    John 6 BIGELOW, son of John 5( Timothy 4, Jonathan 3, Jonathan 2, John 1), and Hannah (WADSWORTH) BIGELOW was born 06 December 1775 at Hartford, Hartford county, CT. He was married there 22 November 1796 to Clarissa Hillyer, daughter of James and Ruth (Holcomb) Hillyer. She was born 18 October 1778 at Hartford. They lived their entire lives in Hartford, he dying 07 November 1809, and she on 29 December 1810.

12116.31t     Richard, b 22 Aug 1797; d 06 Nov 1863 Hartford; m 03 Sept 1823 Martha B. Smith; res Hartford. 8 children.

12116.32      Fanny, b 14 Nov 1799; d 04 Jan 1835 NY; unmarried. (A newspaper obituary mentions that her brother Richard had gone to NY to bring her body home.)

12116.33      William L., b 13 Aug 1802; d 01 Oct 1886; unmarried.

12116.34t      John, b 27 Apr 1805; d 24 Nov 1887 Northampton, MA; m 18 Oct 1838 Jane Ashley Hinman; res Hartford and Northhampton. 4 children.

12116.35       Clarissa, b 18 Sept 1808; d 15 Feb 1875; unmarried.
