I am a  researcher at the New-York Historical Society interested in finding out information on William B. Bigelow, a New York architect who worked during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
His parents were John W. and Annie B. Bigelow and he was born in Massachusetts. He worked with McKim and Mead in the firm McKim, Mead and Bigelow in the 1870s and then as director of design with Herter Brothers.
He seems to "disappear" then.  I have traced him to Cambridge, Mass in the 1910 census where he lived in a boarding house.  If you have any information on this Bigelow I would be very grateful.
Thank you.
