Marlborough, Middlesex, MA on 09 September 1815 and married in Shrewsbury,
MA on 03 April 1839 Abby H. Eager. Early in their marriage, they moved
to Worcester where he was a tailor for many years. In 1864 he was appointed
as one of the letter carriers and he continued this position for 23 years
- from 1864 to 1887. He died in Worcester in March 1889. We have no data
on Abby.
One child born to John and Abby (Eager) Bigelow:
15182.1161 Abbie Anna, b 14 Feb 1845 in Berlin,
MA; d ; m 03 Sept 1863 William P. Wawkes "of Worcester".
