This follows the info in The Bigelow Family Genealogy, V 2. I have
some fairly compelling evidence that Helen lived until at least 1938.
I have pictures of her, labeled and dated, until then. She married
Stephen Rowell Thorp abt 1870, and had two children, Edmond Lucian b. 1872,
and Beade (or Bert) b. Aug 1873. I have Stephen's scrapbook, which
consists mostly of newspaper cuttings without dates or paper name pasted
on. There is also a letter to "Helen and Children" signed "Affecionate
Mother and Grandmother, Margurite Bigelow", which was pasted onto the back
cover. I have attached a scan of this note to this message. (see
