My husbands Great Great Grandparents were Martin Van Buren Van Ness and Anna L. Eells.  ( The L is for Lenthal )  Anna's grandfather was Robert
Lenthel Eells.
You list one son of Martin Van Buren Van Ness and Anna Lenthal Eells as Robert E. Van Ness.  This is not correct.  It should be Robert L. Van Ness <>He was born Feb. 17, 1867 in West Point, Columbia, Wisconsin.  Robert Lenthal Van Ness married Sarah Jennie Randall April 6, 1892. Robert died May 19, 1937 in Inverness, Citrus County, Florida.  Robert and Sarah are both buried in the Van Ness Cemetery in Citrus Co. Florida. <>      Their daughter Jennie Roberta Van Ness ( My husband's grandmother ) daughter of Robert and Sarah, b. May 28, 1893 in So. Dunnellon, Florida. <>     Jennie Roberta married James Wallace Estes Dec. 22, 1915 in Vernon Co. Missouri.  They divorced in 1943 and Jennie Roberta returned to Florida to be with her family.  Jennie Roberta Van Ness Estes died <>Sept. 18, 1968 in Inverness, Citrus Co. Florida.  She is buried in the Van Ness Cemetery in Citurs Co. Florida.  ( The Van Ness Cemetery is a private family cemetery. )  Jennie Roberta Van Ness Estes named one of her sons after her father Robert Lenthal Van Ness.  ( her son was also Robert Lenthal Van Ness. )

My husband's father was the oldest son of Jennie Roberta Van Ness and James Wallace Estes.  ( named, James Van Ness Estes )  my husband's <>father was this James Van Ness Estes and my husband is also named James Van Ness Estes.
