Timothy 5 BIGELOW

15181.   Timothy 5 BIGELOW, son of Gershom 4 (John 3,Samuel 2, John1) and Mary (HOW) BIGELOW , was born in Marlborough, Middlesex county, MA, 01 November 1738. He married, on 07 April 1763, Miriam How, daughter of Joseph and Ruth (BRIGHAM) HOW. She was born in Marlborough 05 December 1744. They lived their entire lives on his father's home place in that portion of town known as "The Farm." He died on 06 November 1817, she on 14 November 1825. His will mentions sons Ephraim & David, daughters Lydia Williams, Betsy Morse, Lovina Bigelow, and Miriam Arnold, and granddaughter Susanna How.
1790 census: MA-Middlesex-Marlborough-Timothy Bigelow: 2-0-4-0-0.

Biglow, Timothy, Marlborough. Private, Capt. William Morse's co. of volunteers, Col. Jonathan Read's regt.; enlisted Oct. 2, 1777; discharged Nov. 8, 1777; service, 1 mo. 7 days; marched to reinforce army under Gen. Gates.
