Thomas 5 BIGELOW

# 15349      Thomas 5, ninth child and third son of Jedediah 4,( Samuel 3, Samuel 2,John1) BIGELOW and Thamezin (NURSE) BIGELOW, was born 14 August 1753 in Douglas, Worcester county, MA. He was married there 03 March 1774 to Hannah CHASE, daughter of Thomas and Mary (-) CHASE. She was born ___ 1757. They lived their entire lives in Douglas; Thomas was a Selectman in the year 1793. He died there l4 March 1837; Hannah on 12 September 1848.

Biglow, Thomas. Corporal, Capt. Job Knap's co., Col. Nathan Tyler's regt.; enlisted July 28, 1780; discharged Aug. 7, 1780; discharged Aug. 7, 1780; service, 14 days; marched to Tiverton, R. I., on the alarm of July 27, 1780. Roll dated Douglas.

I have John Bigelow b. Douglas MA He married Sarah Wiswell. He died 1863 in Chester VT.
I know of two daughters:
1. Sarah B. 1822 m. Jarvis C. Perry 1840 They lived in Springfield VT. Their children were:
Julia, John, Herbert, Henry, Ella & Cora

2. Hannah m. Riley Phillips/had a son Henry H. Phillips
