He married 08 April 1947 Mary Emily Grover, at Bear River, NS. She was born 25 October 1925 (24?) at Lakeville, Kings co, NS. Lawrence was an engine operator, and died 03 January 1995 in Kentville, NS. (buried in the Lakeview cemetery). (see obit below)
