16355.114     Dana Williams 8 BIGELOW, son of Horace 7  ( Otis 6 , Otis 5,  Asa 4, Lieut. John 3, Joshua 2, John 1) , and Julia (PORTER) BIGELOW, was born at Waterville, Oneida County, (Sangerfield?), NY on 27 November 1843 His marriage was to Kathryn Huntington on 21 June 1868.  Kathryn's father, Prof. E. A. Huntington, DD was also a clergyman, officiated at their wedding ceremony assisted by Rev. Jacob Van Vechten, DD.  Kathryn was born 12 August 1845 the daughter of Ezra A. and Anna E. (Van Vechton) Huntington.  Dana was a minister, Hamilton College 1865, Auburn Theological Seminary 1868, moderator of Synod 1904-05, honorary DD from Hamilton College 1906.  At the time of his marriage, 21 June 1868, Dana was Pastor elect of Fayetteville, NY. Dana died 13 Dec 1916 (aged 73) Utica, Oneida County, NY. Katherine died  17 Oct 1924 (aged 79) and buried above.
