He married Charlotte Holly who was the daughter of Willis and Lucy Ann
(Swift) Holly, born at Cayuga, NY at unknown date. We have only limited
information on Freeman's family, but according to the vital records of
Rock county, WI, Charlotte married again on 13 January, 1883 at
Janesville,
WI to James Hopkins. He was the son of Benjamin and Charity (Lee)
Hopkins.
Apparently she was a widow at this second marriage putting the death of
Freeman prior to 1883.
