I will copy the pertinent pages from "The McRorie Family in America" by Carrie Bigelow Calman, my aunt and Alonzo's granddaughter. Her mother, Carrie Orendorf died when Aunt Carrie was born and she was raised by her grandparents, Lavinia and Alonzo.  There has never been any mention of him being Isaac Alonzo G. Bigelow.  Do you know where you got that information??  When I copy the pages, will fill in the death dates of Alonzo's grandchildren of which my mother was one.
According to my records - my grandfather was George E. Bigelow b.1865,d. April 18, 1945, son of Lavinia McRorie b. April 9, 1842, d. Oct.17, 1922, m. on Jan. 20, 1864, Alonzo J. Bigelow b. Sept. 23, 1834, d. Aug.21, 1911, in Richfield Springs, NY.  He was son of Isaac Chapman Bigelow b.1796, d. Mar. 16, 1878. d. Mar. 16, 1878 and Sally Griffin b. Aug. 10,1797.  His father was Isaac Bigelow b. Jan. 23, 1771, d. 1852  son of Elisha Bigelow b. Apr. 14, 1731 son of Sgt. Isaac Bigelow, b. May 19, 1691 son of Samuel Bigelow and Mary Flagg, son of John Bigelow and Mary Warren.
I think this is right - my Bigelows, Chapmans, Orendorfs and Tunnicliffes are all mixed up because they kept marrying cousins.

mine.  However, as I follow their pages further, things get a bit mixed up - they have my birthdate wrong and  listed my son as
my daughter's son.  Sent them an e-mail but never received a response.
One of these days I will bring the McRorie genealogy up to date - that will be adding the three latest generations which will also bring my Bigelow line up to date. But first will have to figure out how to use the Family Tree Maker software.
Am sure my info re. Alonzo Bigelow is correct since he and Lavinia raised my Aunt Carrie who wrote the McRorie book.
