BIGELOW, was born at Consecon, Ontario on 08 June 1855. He married
24 May 1879 Laleah Blanche Allen, according to Howe, but the marriage license
gives the date of 18 May 1880 and her name as Lillie. She was the daughter
of Henry Pendleton and Angeline (Gammon) Allen and born at Dorchester,
MA on 03 July 1859. This family resided in Chicago where he was a
practicing physician. He died when his first child was very young
and his widow died when the child was 6, so that surviving child was raised
by his paternal grandparents.

name as Philomena Thiel). They lived in Chicago and all of their 6
children were born there.
