15182.422 Leander 8 BIGELOW,
son of Levi 7 ( Gershom 6 , Ivory 5, Gershom 4, John 3, Samuel 2, John 1) , and Nancy (AMES)
BIGELOW, was born at Marlborough, Middlesex, MA on 13 April 1812. His
first marriage was on 04 November 1835 to Lucy Felton. She was the daughter
of William and Lois (Bartlett) Felton and born at Marlborough on 17 September
1811. She died on 05 April 1873 and he married Ann Maria (Davis) Howe on
25 October 1876. Ann was the daughter of William S. and Anna (Moulton) Davis
and born in February 1832 at Framingham, MA and died in Worcester, MA on
15 April 1888. Her first marriage was to Benjamin S. Howe and they were divorced
in 1873. Benjamin was the grandson of Artemas Howe and Mary (Bigelow) Howe
and the son of Stephen Howe and Susanna (Brigham) Howe. Leander was engaged
in marketing for many years from Marlborough to Boston and afterwards moved
to Worcester where he became the General Ticket Agent of the Worcester and
Shrewsbury Railroad.
