Zebulon Crane ⁸ BIGELOW

16313.333 Zebulon Crane ⁸ BIGELOW, son of Elisha ⁷ ( Timothy ⁶, Amasa ⁵ , David ⁴ , Lt. John ³ , Joshua ², John ¹), and Abigail Rice (CRANE) BIGELOW, was born at Brookfield, Orange co, VT on 10 February 1819. Marriage records show that he was married on 31 December 1848 although Howe states the date to be 15 September 1849 - note date of first born, to Samantha Howard born in VT 1822. He moved into OH and 1850 census shows him to be a farmer and worth $1200. Samantha died 18 January 1874 and Zebulon died 12 (09?) March 1883. (see below)

16313.3333 Seldon, b Feb 1851 Orwell, OH; d 08 Oct 1906 (aged 55) OH;m Annette Isabell Blanchard (1850-1910 (aged 59–60)); 3 children known;

16313.3334 Florence Inez "Flora", b 1852 OH; d _ 1904 (aged 51–52; m 1878 Thomas Aickins (b 1848 Ireland; d 05 Nov 1901 (aged 52–53);

**Records show he was married 31 Dec. 1848 although Howe states the date to be 15 Sep 1849 - note date of first born to Samantha Howard b. VT 1822. However, the first two children listed were not in Zebulon's household in 1850 census of Orwell, OH, but his sister-in-law Jenette Howard, 18 b. VT was there. Were these her children? Or, were they from an earlier marriage?

Rod, I am Roger Bigelow My dad was Harry Bigelow born in Thomson Ohio in 1900 of, Arther and Emma, He then moved to Canton around 1922 and Married Thelma Volzer. My sister Dorothy born 1923 and I was born in 1935. He had a brother George who remained in Thomson and had a son Arthur, a sister Verna who married Harry Cox in Canton, Ohio
