She married (1) 27 March 1868, David Newton, Jr., born 1842 (another source David 1844-1879). She married (2) 23 April 1879, Mathew Lonsdale, and on 27 April 1887, she married (3) Oliver Smith. She resided in Buckingham, Quebec and had 10 children. Christy died 21 August 1913 Buckingham;

Ruby ¹¹ Smith, was born 20 January 1905 Poltimore, Que. She married 25 January 1922 Thomas Arthur Bigelow, born 31 October 1897 at Glen Almond, Papineau, Quebec, Canada. They were parents of eight children. This is double Bigelow relationship but we need proof of Thomas' family to John. Ruby died 10 February 1940 and Thomas died 11 February 1953 Glen Almond.

Perley Mark ¹¹ Smith, was born 08 March 1907 Poltimore, Quebec. He died 24 January 1987 Buckinham, Que. He was survived by his 2nd wife Enid, 4 sons and daughters, 5 brothers and sisters, 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.

Obituary of a son, Kenneth:
Of Buckingham, Quebec, in hospital on Friday,August 18, 2000 at the age of 74. He was beloved husband of Jean Brown and son of the late Thomas Arthur and Ruby (Smith) Bigelow. He was father of Carroll (Ian Langlands) of Carleton Place, Ruby Bigelow, Velvet Bigelow (Raynald Rochon) Richard, Gail and christine, all of Buckingham, Quebec. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren. He was brother of Franklin (Lila) Dorothy, Henry and Reginald (Jean) Bigelow. He was predeceased by his sisters, Evelyn and Lizetta. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 21 at St. John in the Wilderness Church on River road in L'Ange-Gardien followed by interment in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Cadieux Funeral Home on sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Monday starting at 9 am. donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
