1592C.2324      Pvt Clifford Miner "Cliff" BIGELOW, son of James Amasa 8 (John 7 ( John 6 , Amasa 5 , Isaac 4, Isaac 3, Samuel 2, John1 and Agnes Elizabeth (FRENCH) BIGELOW, was born 30 May 1878 Newcastle City, New South Wales, Australia. Not much known except he was in the Australian Infantry, A.I.F.He was serving in Franch during WW I and died there 18 Dec 1916. He is buried in Saint Sever Cemetery Extension; Rouen, Departement de la Seine-Maritime, Haute-Normandie, France.(see stone)

Biography: Clifford Miner Bigelow was born on 30 May 1878 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia [1], the son of James Amasa Bigelow and Agnes Elizabeth French and the brother of Ernest John Bigelow, Amasa Edgar Bigelow, Cora Malvena (Bigelow) Duffell, Charles Rockwell Bigelow, Percy Bigelow, Henry Louis Bigelow, Cyril Albert Bigelow, Agnes Elizabeth (Bigelow) Harradine and Lillah Ivy (Bigelow) Knight.

He married Elsie Vivian Dunk in 1901 in Victoria, Australia [2] and their children were Leslie Clifford Bigelow and Eva Vivian Bigelow.

Clifford's occupation was that of "Carpenter" when he enlisted for World War One Service on 03 February 1916, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia [3][4].

Clifford died, from Acute Bronchitis, in the Australian General Hospital, Rouen, France, on 18 December 1916 and was buried in the St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, Departement de la Seine-Maritime, Haute-Normandie, France [5].
