Obituary
Randall "Randy" Don Bigelow
Edmore-Randall "Randy" Don Bigelow, age 55, of Edmore passed
away Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Spectrum Health Butterworth
Campus in Grand Rapids.
Randy was born on January 15, 1955 to Donald and Irene (Johnston)
Bigelow in Edmore. He was raised in the Edmore area and attended
Montabella Public Schools. On June 5, 1982 Randy was married to
Katherine Wing in Ithaca, at his sister's house. He was employed at
Electrolux as a Hilo Driver for 32 plus years. Randy obtained an
Associates degree for Medical Information Systems in 2008 from
Montcalm Community College. He enjoyed deer camp and deer hunting,
pheasant hunting, University of Michigan football games [go blue]
and loved watching the Pistons and Red Wings.
Randy is survived by his wife, Katherine; children, Hazel Anne
(Marc) Gallagher of Crystal, Lorraine (Michael) Campbell of Edmore;
grandchildren, Terron Don, Meriah Anne, Rayne Katherine, Lydia Anne,
and Mallory Haze; brothers and sister, Roger Bigelow of Okemos,
Kenneth (Bonnie) Sooy of Stanton, Wanda Smith of Stanton, Dave
(Lorna) Bigelow of Greenville and Marsha Bigelow of Greenville;
numerous nieces, nephews and special friends Michael Austin and Jim
Perkins.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister,
Kendall Bigelow, Judy Andrew; sister-in-law, Ruth Bigelow, and
brother-in-law, Art Andrew.
A celebration of Randy's life will be on Saturday, October 2, 2010
at 1 p.m. at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore. A visitation will
be two hours prior to the service. Come and join the family in
celebrating Randy's life. Memorial donations in Randy's memory may
be made to American Cancer Association-Angio Sarcoma. Condolences
may be made on line at brighamfuneralchapel.com.
