Subject: Bigelow Family

My name is Willard (Will) Rogers. My great-grandmother is Frances E. Bigelow, daughter of Horace Bigelow. She married my great-grandfather, John McKenna in 1888, in Shepherd, Michigan. Frances and John had two children, Willard Bigelow McKenna and Edla Bergetta McKenna. Willard Bigelow McKenna is my grandfather (my Mom’s father). Willard died in 1950 at the age of 53 from a heart attack in Akron, Ohio. Edla McKenna married Harold T. Couglin of Troy. Harold was an attorney and owned several hundred acres of Troy. Their farm is still standing at the corner of Beach and South Blvd, in Troy. It is used as a community garden, but I am not sure what they use the house for.
<>I was thrilled to stumble upon your website. The information is fantastic. <>
