"Willey" 9 BIGELOW, son of  John Porter 8 ( Joseph 7 (also known as John), Noah 6 , Noah 5 , Cornelius 4, Samuel 3, Samuel 2, John1)  and Sophia (Van Buren) BIGELOW, was born 20 April 1866, Strawberry Pt., Clayton co, IA. He married on 08 September 1886 Mary Frances Thompson; She was born 03 September 1863 at Old Clifton, IA, the dau of William and Nancy (Neal) Thompson  Mary Frances Thompson was sister of Grant Thompson who married William's sister, Iza Bigelow.  Mary died 20 May 1957 Council Bluffs, IA. William J. "Willey" Bigelow was a railroad Conductor with the Rock Island Railroad.and died 25 July 1955 at Council Bluffs, IA. (see 1) (see 3)

Valley Junction where they were married is now West Des Moines, IA.  Clarence Neal Bigelow was a minister and Funeral Home Director.  He served in the U.S. Army in World War I. (see below)
