Hiram 7 BIGELOW


159B3.41       Hiram 7 BIGELOW, son of  Jairus 6 ( Bond 5 , Elisha 4, Isaac 3, Samuel 2, John1)  and Lucinda (MAIN) BIGELOW, was born 04 August 1805 in New York State. He was married, about 1826/7, in Monroe co, NY to Lovantia M. Gordon., the daughter of Garrett and Abigail ( ___ ) Gordon. She was born 1807 in Monroe county. Hiram was a resident of Lima, Livingston, NY until 1838 when he entered 80 acres on Hill Road, near Fenton Road, in Genesee county, MI. This was 1 1/2 miles west of Whigville, in Grand Blanc township. Their youngest child was born at that farm. Later they moved to Mundy township and again took up land, which they farmed the remainder of their lives. Hiram died 22 July 1886 and Lovantia on 11 July 1875. Both are buried in Evergreen cemetery, Mundy, as are many family members.
