16163.95 Silas 7 BIGELOW,
son of Samuel 6 ( John 5, John 4, Joshua 3, Joshua
2, John1) and
Electa (WILDER) BIGELOW, was born at Conway, Franklin, MA on 25 April
1820. According to records, he married on 25 October 1840 Jane E. Tower who
was born at Cummington, MA on 19 May 1829. (Another source lists her as Jane
E. Torrey-intention to marry 06 Oct 1848). She certainly could not have been
married at age 11, so there is an error in the records somewhere (note birth
date of first child born to this couple - more confusion). Jane was the daughter
of Luther and Sarah (Reed) Tower. In 1885, this family was living in Rutland,
MA. We have no additional data and what we do have certainly needs to be checked.
