"County of Middlesex, Brighton, "Samuel Bigelow, $200,000. Began with
small means. First a butcher in Brighton, then
wholesale provision dealer in Charlestown, and now speculator in Real
Estate. A keen calculator, who never loses sight of the
dollar crop."
