Damietta Pitman 6 BIGELOW


16C59.5     Damietta Pitman 6 BIGELOW, dau of Reuben 5 ( Jabez 4 , Eleazer 3 Joshua2, John1), and Abigail (BROOKS) BIGELOW, was born 12 February 1805 at Peru, VT. She married, on 01 October 1828, Russel Tuthill, son of Daniel and Sarah (Bradley) Tuthill. They lived in Vermont until 1836, when they moved to Illinois. He died at DuQuoin, Perry county, IL.

16C59.56     Mary Bigelow Tuthill, b 21 July 1840; d ____ ; m 31 Dec 1878 George W. Jenks, native of Ohio,who served as Capt. in 32nd IL Regt in Civil War, and had:

Hi Rod,
I was trying to find some verification of the deaths of Russell Tuthill and his son, Russell, as I seem to have them on the same date.
In doing so, I came across your info on Russell and his wife Damietta Pittman Bigelow.
The last entry is of special interest to me:, 16C59.5A, Rosalyn Bird Tuthill, b. 21 Sep 1850; d. 17 July 1851 is of interest to me as I assume she is being listed as their youngest daughter.  Alva Tuttle does not list her, but does list a tenth child who died young.  Somehow this child got listed as Isabella Tuthill born abt 1848.
