Edmund Clark 7 BIGELOW

16164.41    Edmund Clark 7 BIGELOW (called Clark), son of Jonathan Oakes 6( Nathan 5 , John 4 , Joshua 3, Joshua 2, John 1), and Philandra (CLARK) BIGELOW, was born circa 1800 in VT. Shortly thereafter, his parents moved to Essex county, NY where they lived near Crown Point. Clark, named for his maternal grandfather Edmond Clark, was married about 1823 to Ruby Sherman who was born circa 1804. They were both living in 1850, beyond which we have not traced them. The Kankakee County, (IL), Portrait and Biographical Record of 1894, states there were 13 children in all. We have only traced the one, but take the following approximate information from the 1850 census and the history as listed above.
