Hannah Matilda ⁸ BIGELOW

15336.54A Hannah Matilda ⁸ BIGELOW, dau of Ebenezer ⁷ ( Cornelius ⁶ , Paul ⁵, Cornelius ⁴, Samuel ³, Samuel ², John¹) and Ellen (BLAIR) BIGELOW, was born at Chatham township, Argenteuil, Quebec on 29 October 1847 according to her brother, Ebenezer's, prayerbook. This conflicts with ages given on various censuses which imply that she was a year or two younger. Then there are two headstones at Calumet Protestant cemetery that read: "Hannah M. Bigelow, wife of Robert McNeely, born 31 October 1849, died 02 October 1913" - this is on the reverse of her mother's headstone. A second stone gives the name of Robert McNeely and "also his wife, Hannah M. Bigelow, born 31 October 1848, died 02 Oct 1913". Hannah married Robert McNeeIy about 1885. According to his headstone he was born 27 August 1836 and died 07 March 1918.
