Hannah 3 BIGELOW

158  Hannah 3 BIGELOW, daughter of Samuel 2 ( John 1), and Mary (FLAGG) BIGELOW, was born in Watertown, Middlesex co, MA at unknown date, but circa 1689. She was married there 24 May 1711 to her second cousin, Daniel WARREN,(see note below) son of Daniel jr and Elizabeth (WHITNEY) WARREN. Capt. Daniel WARREN was born in Watertown 30 April 1686. He served in the French and Indian War, according to one source, but since he was deceased by 1734, it was more likely in one of the local Indian uprisings. Hannah died about 1717. She and her children were named in her father's will; Howe errs in saying she had five children, as she died at the birth of her third child. Daniel married (2) 15 November 1717 Mehitabel GARFIELD, by whom he had six children..

Note on Daniel Warren:
from "Waltham as a Precinct of Watertown and as a Town 1630-1884" by Edmund L. Sanderson
John and Daniel, sons of Ensign John Warren, bought in 1710 from John Coolidge 56 acres, the southern parts of lots 29 and 30 in the first squadron. Daniel seemingly bought his brother's half although the transaction is not recorded. The Daniel Warren who lived at this place is stated by Bond to have been the son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Whitney) Warren, born in 1686. This is an evident mistake for that Daniel was the one who married Rebecca Garfield, moved to Marlborough and then to Westboro where he was living when he was made administrator of his fathers estate in Weston near Kendall Green. Daniel of the West Precinct was Great grandson of John the pioneer, grandson of Daniel and son of Ensign John. He married Hannah Biglow in 1711 and second, in 1717, Mehitabel Garfield. He died early in 1731 but his widow lived on the homestead until her death in 1782, age ninety-three. John Viles, a son-in-law, acquired a considerable part of the estate, buying from Daniel Warren, Jr. in 1786. In 1800 he sold the place to Solomon Harrington.

Hello,
I live in West Bangor, N.Y. near Malone. In my family genealogy I have a Bigelow connection. It is back in the 1600's Hannah Bigelow married Daniel Warren; Hannah was born 1689 in Watertown, Massachusetts , Married May 24, 1711 died 1717 in Westborough,Massachusetts,
I have the Warren family back to 1320 . I do not have any information on Hannah Bigelow other than this. How can I get in your site to review the Bigelow records?
Thank you,       Liz .          webmenke@westelcom.com
Daniel Warren?
Which Daniel Warren married Hannah Bigelow in 1711??

A lot of folks are carrying the Daniel Warren, son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Whitne) Warren as this Daniel. I have happened to stumble across this in my travels, for whatever it's worth.
