THE HOBBS FAMILY

Benjamin Harrison HOBBS, born 5 Feb 1889; died 27 Jan 1977 Plattsburgh,
Clinton, NY.
married 2 May 1916 Florence M. HOFF,
born 31 Mar 1889 Ellenburgh Center, Clinton, NY; died 19 Mar 1979 Plattsburgh,Clinton,NY/US
; No children. Florence was known as Flossie and Shum. I always referred
to them as Aunt Shum and Uncle Ben. I stayed with them at their camp on
Lake Champain for almost every summer in the 50's. They were like a second
family to me as they had no children of their own.
This is the headstone of Ben's brother Roy.
