BIGELOW, son of Jabez 4 (Eleazer 3 Joshua2,
John1), and Deborah (KNOWLTON) BIGELOW,
was born 27 June 1762 at Westminster, Worcester county, MA. He married (1)
_ November 1789 Polly Cower, who died 07 March 1819. He then married (2) 15
December 1819 Rebecca Cower. John died 12 June 1829 in Westminster, without
issue. Family letters refer to the division of John's property among his brothers
in the event of Rebecca's death, mentioning that he "left a feeble widow,"
but she survived until 13 November 1853, aged 85 years.
