16AB Samuel 4 BIGELOW, eleventh child and ninth son of Ebenezer 3( Joshua2, John1), and Hannah (BROWN) BIGELOW, was baptised 28 May 1738, place not stated. It is thought he is the same Samuel who married 1 Jan 1765 Elizabeth Hubbard at ?? No further record except for the following:
16AB1. Elizabeth, b 22 Feb 1765 Princeton; Editor checked every Samuel BIGELOW living 1765, and this child of "Samuel & Elizabeth" could belong only to above couple.
In 1790 there was a Samuel BIGELOW (1-1-2-0-0) living at New Salem, Hampshire co, MA. It is possible he is the same as the above Samuel, in which case we must also consider a male child under age 16 in 1790. Editor could offer no proof, but considers Samuel of New Salem to be another Samuel BIGELOW, 16A42.
