and Eliza (WILDER) BIGELOW, was born 17 December 1823 at Lancaster,
Worcester, MA. His first marriage was on 10 June 1846 to Sarah Mafia Tufts,
daughter of Otis Tufts and born in Malden, MA 14 July 1825. There were
no children of this marriage. Sarah died 15 February 1886 at Boston and
Lucius married again on 22 February 1887, Elizabeth Porter Smart. She was
the daughter of Dr. William H. and Helen Mathilda (Henderson) Smart and
bom at Claremont, NY on 04 August 1860. Lucius died at Boston 16 November
1915. He had been a clerk.

1897; d ____ ; m 30 May 1939 Southport, ME to Dorothy Hilliard.
16C58.112 Lucius Augustus, b __1892 Boston;
d 01 Dec 1975; m Mary Cummings; he was professor at Duke Univ., for 40
years.
