1) and Mary (HALL) BIGELOW, was born
at
Portland, Chautauqua, NY on 20 December 1853. Her marriage took place
at
Whitewater, MN on 10 January 1884 to Melvin Herbert Skidmore. Family
records
state he was born in Norway, but offer no proof, on 31 March 1851.
(Another source says birth 14 April 1849.) In the
1890's they were living in a log cabin about 1 1/2 miles north of Elba,
MN. Nellie died at Williston, Williams co, ND on 08 Aug 1935 and her
widower
on 30 June 1937 at Williston.
