 Hello, I found the Bigelow Society site, love it! I believe that I am related to Alfred>Joseph>Ezra>David>Lt. John>Joshua>John. My family history says that Alfred and Susannah Murlin had a daughter, Sinai, between their first two sons--David and George. Sinai (Sarah? Sina Ann?) b. June 5, 1824, Kentucky, married Wm Harner in Ohio, then Robert McGregor in Illinois and finally to John Robinson in Illinois. Their son, Phillip Daniel Robinson was my great-grandfather. Do you have anything about Sinia?

Sini, Alfred, Susannah Murlin Bigelow, are all buried in Dennis Hollow Cemetery, Valmeyer, Illinois. Phillip Daniel moved to northeast Arkansas, married Lettie McGrafton Brown and raised their family in that area.  One child, Bertha Beatrice is my grandmother. I don’t have anything on John after the 1870 Census in Illinois. He came from England, possibly a stowaway. I have a public tree on Ancestry, Bivens-Lane Family Tree with info on Phillip to me.  Thank you again.  I have found this page helpful. I am gathering the documents for Ezra Bigelow as a Patriot in the American Revolution. Also William Murlin as Patriot (Susannah Murlin’s grandfather.) Jeri Baker
