Hopestill 6 BIGELOW
16A54.3 Hopestill 6 BIGELOW, son of Samuel 5( Hopestill
4 , Ebenezer 3, Joshua2, John1),
and Elizabeth (FULLER) BIGELOW, was born 28 February 1786 at Whitehall,
Washington county, NY. The family gradually moved westward during the early
1800's, and settled in Steuben county, where Hopestill lived many years. He
married, on 12 February 1817, Charlotte Bates. She was born 19 August 1793.

his grandfather-16A5. Hopestill died at
Newmarket, NJ on 17 April 1867. His wife died 19 August 1878.
