16164.9532     Francis Edgar "Frank" 9 BIGELOW, son of  William H. 8 ( John W. 7 , Joseph 6 , Nathan 5, John 4, Joshua 3, Joshua 2, John 1), and Alice (McGINN) BIGELOW, was born at Port Henry, Essex co, NY on 25 August 1877. He married first Mary Orr, born 1878 and died 1916 Mineville, Essex co, NY. Francis married second 19 June 1918 Mary Margaret Donahue (see below).  Mary was born 12 March 1883 Witherbee, Essex co, NY, the dau of Jeffrrey and Harriet (Vokes) Donahue. Francis died in 1922 at Mineville, Essex co, NY, and Mary Donahue married second Joseph Cronin (1876-1914), and died 01 April 1931 Mineville, Essex co, NY. Francis and both wives are buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Mineville, NY.

Note2:
William changed the spelling of his name to Bigalow when he married Alice. Also, my mother, Georgeanne is the daughter of Frank (Francis Edgar) and his second wife, Mary Donahue.  Please note that my mother is living.

I descend from John 1--through Joshua 2, Joshua 3, John 4, Nathan 5, Joseph 6, John 7, William 8, who married an Irish Catholic, Alice Maginn in Port Henry, Essex, NY and was disowned by the family, so he changed the spelling to Bigalow, Frank (Francis Edgar) 9, Georgeanne 10, married John Grant Slack, my parents.
